Package com.sun.dtv.transport Description
Provides access to entities contained in a transport stream.
Design
Description
This package provides low level access to entities associated to transport streams, services and elementary streams.
A transport streams contains a number of services which in turn are composed of elementary streams.
An elementary stream may belong to multiple services.
In this case an instance of ElementaryStream exists for each service.
Access to instances of these classes can be obtained from the
Tuner.getCurrentTransportStream().
It should be noted that the classes in this package are used in order to get access to the physical entities related
to transport streams (e.g. while tuning or the serice an application is bound to).
On the other hand access to service information (SI) tables and their updates can be achieved via the package javax.tv.service
and its subpackages.
