Interface MediaTimeEvent

public interface MediaTimeEvent
extends MediaEvent

Event to inform the application about media time changes. A MediaTimeEvent is registered with an ID and a media time to a Controller. The Controller will raise the event as close as possible to the time given during the registration of the event. This interface has to be implemented by an javax.media.ControllerEvent subclass.

 int getEventID()
          Every MediaTimeEvent is identified by an ID that is assign to the event during registration of the listener interface with a specific media time.
 Time getMediaTime()
          The media time given to the MediaTimeEvent object can differ from the time the event was registered to therefore the actual Time object carries the time the event was actually raised by the Controller.

getEventID

int getEventID()
Every MediaTimeEvent is identified by an ID that is assign to the event during registration of the listener interface with a specific media time.

Returns:
the id of the event

getMediaTime

Time getMediaTime()
The media time given to the MediaTimeEvent object can differ from the time the event was registered to therefore the actual Time object carries the time the event was actually raised by the Controller.

Returns:
the actual media time the event was raised by the Player
