public interface ClippingControl
extends Control

Control to retrieve and set the clipping rectangle of the video. This Control is only available if clipping is supported by the system.

          This method returns a rectangle giving the display region of the video.
 Rectangle setRegion(Rectangle clippingRect)
          Sets the Rectangle region to which the video will be clipped.

getRegion

Rectangle getRegion()
This method returns a rectangle giving the display region of the video. If clipping is not supported, the returned rectangle will have the same size as the displayed video.

Returns:
rectangle of the decoded video that will be displayed after ETR154 up-sampling if any

setRegion

Rectangle setRegion(Rectangle clippingRect)
Sets the Rectangle region to which the video will be clipped. The clippingRect is a request from the application the terminal has to set the clipping rectangle to the closest technical possible value.

Parameters:
clippingRect - the clipping rectangle region as a rectangle of the decoded video after ETR154 up-sampling if any
Returns:
the selected clipping rectangle by the terminal. In case the terminal supports no clipping null is returned.
